Review of Devon & Jones Ladies Pima Pique Short-Sleeve Polo (D100W)

These polo shirts have more feminine appeal than any other I own. I love these shirts! Feminine fit and extremely attractive neckline and button placket. Great quality Pima cotton, that is very smooth, soft, comfortable,medium weight and designed in a flattering style with vibrant colors.I hand wash mine. It's no problem for me to rinse them out at night. I bought enough to do this with no concern about drying times, but they do dry fast. Zero shrinkage with hand washing. This is that kind of cotton begins to look like knitted silk, the more it's washed and the older it gets. Heed the instructions to forgo the fabric softener. This Peruvian Pima doesn't need it and the cotton doesn't interact well with it. I tried the softener on one, because I put fabric softener on everthing. Forgo the softener. It's makes the fabric mushy soft.

The sleeves are comfortably roomy, but neat. The sleeve band is sewn on without any puckering. It's a true short sleeve..not capped nor overly long. Comfortable collar.Very,very, slight drop shoulder. I'm 5"5 and the length falls to mid hip on me. The sides have small split, in an even hemline.Absolutely, no pilling.I purchased several in a variety of colors.Some of the colors will release dye on the first washing, especially if not washed in cold water, per instructions. No vibrancy is lost, but I wish they were all colorfast.After, the inital washing, they don't continue to release dye.

These are really great looking polo shirt, very professional and polished..nothing sloppy, slouchy or ratty looking about these. They run true to size. There is a little give because the cotton is soft, but they don't have stretch, so it's necessary to get your proper size. These are tailored shirts with a feminine fit. They are not oversized, excessively roomy, unisex type polo's


Size LChest: 42 1/2"
Size L Length: 25 1/2"
Using this guide's chest measurement; add or subtract approx 2"for each size. Keep in mind, this is not a bra size, but actual measurement of the garment. For a good fit, your bra size needs to be about 3 or 4" smaller than the shirt's chest measurement.The change in length is minimal, regardless of the size. I purchased size L and XL. The XL is about 1/2" longer.

These are the best looking polo shirts I own. I work in them and wear them with khakis, but the black looks good enough to wear with black dress slacks.I like them even better than Land's End and that is saying a lot for me.The quality of this cotton, puts the Dickies brand...to shame! They are approximately the same price. With proper care these will last for years and keep their good looks. I am very pleased and highly recommend.A couple of sellers have these shirts available.I ordered mine from ClothingWarehouse.At the time I wrote this review, Clothingwarehouse is selling these shirts for over 6.00 less the other seller.They have excellent customer service.
